Mackerel light and dark

polished green oil on water

absorbing the sparkle of Sardines

against the flesh fat Turbot

as eels black thread their

way past neon lit baskets of crevettes

and the dull, deep

brick red crabs

with fossils of oysters

a

thousand

years

old
